At Wessex Swim School, we understand the importance of getting the most out of every lesson. Having quality time with a highly experienced instructor is something we take very seriously so that you can improve your skill, stroke, stamina and confidence with every lesson. Our low ratio of 3 students to 1 teacher ensures this, making sure you get the most out of your swimming.

Our children's lessons have a maximum of 3 pupils per class for up to Level 7 swimmers. When the swimmer is starting to learn, the added attention from the teacher of such small classes means that the learning is accelerated, and we can get you the improvement and progress you want. 

Once the children are at a Level 8 and above the lessons are held at a maximum of 5 pupils per class. These are mostly focused on stamina, and are designed to prepare the children for Swimming Club, so we also go through starts, turns, finishes, and the laws of swimming in a club.

Adult lessons are also available, either in a class of 5, or 1 to 1. These can be for any ability, whether you're a nervous beginner wanting to learn or a confident swimmer who wants to learn the best techniques and get some training.

All our teachers hold qualifications with either the ASA or STA, ensuring that each lesson is effective in learning, whilst also being a fun experience.
For your safety and peace of mind, all Wessex Swim School teachers are insured and CRB checked to the highest level.
